Born in the South of France, I have been living in Marlborough with my wife and two children for the last 15 years and have spent the majority of my life in the hospitality and food industry, where I developed a passion for wine and food.
Using my extensive knowledge of the local area and wine industry, I have designed the following tours for you to enjoy while visiting Marlborough.
private boutique tour
We'll visit those small wineries that are off the beaten track, wineries you probably have not heard of but offer arguably some of the best wine in the region.
On the full day tours, we will visit a total of 6 cellar doors and stop for a lunch break at one of the best restaurants in Marlborough.
On the half day tours, we will visit a total of 4 cellar doors but will not stop for lunch. It is highly recommended that you have lunch before starting the tour.
A visit of the Vines Village for a Gin or Whiskey & Cheese tasting and a cheeky chocolate indulgence at the Makana Chocolate factory are optional stops on this tour.
FULL DAY TOUR $450/Adult (2 to 4 people max)
Pick up at 9.45am and returning to your accommodation around 5.30pm. (Lunch cost not included)
HALF DAY TOUR $290/Adult (2 to 4 people max)

This tour focuses on Marlborough Organic Winegrowers. Dedicated to organic principles and sustainable viticulture, they are farmers united by a commitment to hand-crafting stunning wines, sharing knowledge and safeguarding the land of one of the most beautiful place on Earth.
On the full day tours, we will visit a total of 6 cellar doors and stop for a lunch break at one of the best restaurants in Marlborough.

We will visit wineries considered pioneers of the Marlborough viticulture industry. Each one is a leading wine company renowned for their exceptional quality and amazing wines.

On the half day tours, we will visit a total of 4 cellar doors but will not stop for lunch. It is highly recommended that you have lunch before starting the tour.

aviation museum +
wine tasting package
This tour will take you to our superb Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre has combined a rare collection of WW1 and WW2 aircraft with creative display techniques to present a remarkable experience that captures the imagination. Omaka is a world-class destination for appreciating historic aircraft and sharing the stories of the men and women behind the machines.
Once the two parts of the museum have been completed, we will visit three wineries and indulge in some of the best wines that Marlborough has to offer.
1H will be allocated for lunch (cost not included).
All activities and tastings included.
FULL DAY TOUR $390/Adult (2 to 4 people max)
Pick up at 9.45am and returning to your accommodation around 5.30pm.
private gourmet experience
This is a full day tour, designed for all of you that want to learn about and taste some of our region's best local products. This tour includes a couple of wine tasting at local wineries, visit to the Cranky Pantry where you will indulge in some locally made cheeses. We will travel to the Vines Village to taste some local honey and fudge, and of course a cheeky stop at the famous Makana Chocolate Factory on the way back to Blenheim, with our last stop being at Scotch Wine Bar for a Greenshell Mussel tasting. Gin tasting at the Gin Shack can be added to this tour if desired.
1H will be allocated for lunch (cost not included).

picton shore excursions
Whether you enjoy a scenic drive, a visit to our superb Omaka Aviation Museum, cheese tasting or simply want us to design a wine tour for you, on Shore Excursions, you will experience the best that Marlborough has to offer based of your preferences and the time available to you.
Here are some of the stops we can make on this tour:
- Wine Tasting at a couple (or more) Marlborough cellar doors of your choice (allow 45min per tasting)
- Visit to our world-class Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre (allow 1H30)
- Drive to Havelock, Greenshell Mussels capital of the world, and have lunch at one of the local restaurants. This includes a drive back to Picton via the scenic Queen Charlotte Drive (allow 2H30)
- Scenic drive around the Marlborough Region with plenty of lookout stops for photos.
- For shorter excursion, Vines Village is a great stop, as it offers a range of activities such as coffee or lunch at Vines Café, wine tasting at Whitehaven, whiskey & cheese tasting at Cheese & Cheers, gin tasting at the Gin Shack and even the beautiful Quilters Barn for all of you fans of haberdashery.
Simply pick a staring time and a drop off time (minimum 1H before last shuttle)
This tour is only available to cruise ship passengers.

Cancellation Policy – Discover Marlborough NZ
Please be advised that booking cancellations made up to 48 hours before a scheduled tour via email, text, phone call will be processed without a penalty fee.
Cancellations made 48 hours or less before a booking will be subject to a charge of half of the service rate. This includes tours where our service provider is unable to access the property, is turned away, or the client is a no-show.
Rescheduling a booking in lieu of cancellation within 48 hours of the original booking time will be processed without a penalty fee.
